Feb 10, 2018 路 Doing the usual research plus contemplation of what is the actually the problem. There is power to the pump feed (when new maxi fuse is installed). Have removed the pump and it spins when power applied though can't really apply a load to fully test. I did notice on service citroen the schematic for the pump includes a relay- 6500VL - see below.

Nov 13, 2010 路 As a general information, 2 bearings (describing from Xantia) are in the rear suspension arm and they can be seen only when it's disassembled. Long bolt and nut holds it in the arm. Don't worry about bearings yet ----Edit: Here's a pic I've sent for Xantia sometimes ago, C5 has a very similar rear arm structure.

Most noticeable over speed humps or pot holes when it is a clear clunk but over rough surfaced concrete roads would be more of a rattling noise. Front suspension seems quite firm but not hard as when a sphere has gone.

This happens because when the engine is running, oil pressure is greater than cooling system pressure. Oil is forced into the cooling system. Jun 20, 2007 路 The history of this suspension fault was that the car had a new tyre fitted and also suffered a flat battery when the lights were left on. The battery has since been replaced. I tried to clear faults by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery following procedures mentioned elsewhere on this forum.
